Emanuel „Emu“ Meshvinski (geb. 2002, Hamburg) ist Komponist, Dirigent und Künstlerischer Leiter des Jewish Chamber Orchestra Hamburg. Er sucht Jazz in der Klassik, Spaß im Ernst und Hoffnung im Dunkeln – und verbindet Konzertsaal, Film und Club. Nach Studien in Hamburg und Zürich sowie Dirigierunterricht bei Johannes Schläfli und Vassily Sinayski arbeitet er mit Orchestern, Schauspieler:innen und Ensembles in ganz Europa. Mit dem von ihm geleiteten JCOHH bringt er jüdische Musik neu zum Klingen und prägt Hamburgs Kulturlandschaft.
