Adapting the biblical Exodus story to the present day: In a collaboration between the Zurich University of the Arts, the Music Conservatory, and the Reformed Church of Zurich, I co-developed the premiere evening «Menschen in Bewegung» (People in Motion) with five other young composers. For this event, I composed and conducted the 6-minute orchestral work «In Ägypten» (In Egypt) as part of a concert attended by over 500 people. The working process was covered by a camera team from Swiss Television and subsequently broadcast in the 50-minute documentary «Sternstunde Musik» (Musical Highlight/Hour of Music).
